1. Who We Are

Manuvo operates the career platform available at manuvo.eu and app.manuvo.eu. When this policy refers to "Manuvo", "we", "us", or "our", it means the operator of these services. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@manuvo.eu.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the platform.

• Account data: your email address and password when you register for an account.
• Payment data: payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Manuvo does not store or process your card details. Paddle's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
• Platform usage data: your progress through modules, answers saved in the platform, and application tracker entries. This data is stored to provide the service.
• Assessment data: if you complete the career profile quiz, we store your scores and profile results. You may provide your email to receive results by email.
• Communications: if you contact us by email, we store that correspondence.
• Technical data: standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Used for security and performance monitoring only.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide and maintain your access to the Manuvo platform
• Personalise the platform experience based on your Career Profile
• Send transactional emails related to your account (access confirmation, password reset)
• Send platform-related updates if you have opted in
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the product based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance: processing your account and payment data is necessary to deliver the service you purchased.
• Legitimate interests: improving the platform and ensuring its security.
• Consent: sending marketing or newsletter emails, where you have explicitly opted in.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third parties, and only to the extent necessary to operate the service:

• Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record. Your payment data is governed by Paddle's privacy policy.
• Supabase — database infrastructure. Your account and platform data is stored on Supabase servers within the EU.
• Brevo — email delivery. Used to send transactional and opt-in emails.
• Vercel — platform hosting. Processes technical request data as part of serving the application.
• Anthropic — AI capabilities within the platform. Prompts and responses within the AI features are processed by Anthropic's API. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic beyond what you enter into AI-assisted fields.

We do not share data with any other third parties without your explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records related to your purchase).

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

8. Cookies

Manuvo uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function (session management and authentication). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we do not use non-essential cookies.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payment data is never stored by Manuvo — it is handled entirely by Paddle.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
